Subject: FOIA Appeal - Administrative Closure of Request #25-28076-F

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to formally appeal the administrative closure of my FOIA request #25-28076-F by the

VA Eastern Kansas FOIA Office.

In the agency's response dated July 8, 2025, it was stated that the request was closed because I

failed to respond with identity verification. This is factually incorrect.On June 27, 2025, I submitted the requested identity documents via the MuckRock platform,

including:

- A photo of my handwritten signature

- Front and back images of my driver's license

- A follow-up message explicitly asking for confirmation of receipt

Despite these steps, I received no acknowledgment from the FOIA officer. Screenshots showing the

complete submission and follow-up messages are documented on the public MuckRock thread.

I respectfully request that the administrative closure be overturned, and that FOIA Request

#25-28076-F be reopened and processed immediately, with proper acknowledgment of my prior

identity documentation.
