When a very nice girl, I know, was freaked out by her phone, when it asked her how her ice cream was tasting, I wondered where this would end. There are open free Linux phones and deGooled alternatives.
Degoogled phones are a good idea, also Up Phones as well but if all you’ve ever used is an iPhone & then have to learn how to use an android it’s a challenge at my age.
